I choose this issue because right now the media coverage in Chile is mostly worrying. I believe is important to talk about this, seen that lately with the mapuche conflict the press and the media coverage has been corrupted. The press is covering to the government’s benefit, manipulating information and almost making fun of the pain of its nation. The pain of the chilean people has been related not only by Camilo Catrillanca’s death, who was an innocent man killed by the government’s special force which has Wallmapu militarized, also known as Comando Jungla. In solidarity with the mapuche people, concentrations at Plaza Italia, Alameda and other kind of protest haven’t stop. But the special force repression hasn’t either. The media is still quiet about how the police is violating the rights of the chilean people to manifest their pain and hanger produce of so much injustice and corruption. When I was little I always wanted a dog, but my mom didn't, typical. I had two turtles, they both had terrible death. One jumped out of the balcony and the other one got trapped under the washing machine. Since the loss of my turtles I didn't get any other pet. Actually, I stopped wanting any other pet. However, there was another person at my house who wanted a pet. My older brother Carlos. He kept insisting my parents to get a dog, but they never relent.  Nevertheless, when my brother got older enough and stared making his own money he got a dog. He told my mom it was just for a few days, but nowadays she's still the family's dog. Her name is Chocolate. Chocolate was born in Venezuela and when my brother moved to Chile we took care of her for at least a year, until I moved to Chile as well. To talk about vegetarism, we need to talk about human egolatry, and to talk about human egolatry I think first we need to talk about men’s egolatry. History has demostrated that most men believe their superior than women, and their also believe they are at the top of the animal chain, that they are the intelligent specie, even when they (and here I also include women) are the one who are leading the world to it end.   In our entire recorded history, 619 million people has been killed by war. We kill the same number of animals every 3 days. Without including sea creatures.   Animal of both sexes not only get kill by human, they are also torture and suffer  under a institutionalized system of explotation. Although some people or ideologies could say animals came to the world to feed  us, thats dosn´t explain the 13,000 million tons of food waste per year. My favorite band since I was nine years old is called  Simple Plan , and they came to Chile in 2016. It was on the “Cupula”, wich is located in the O'Higgins Park. And it is the best concert I've been so far.  Simple Plan  is a Canadian band, they've been playing together since 1999. The band is conformed by Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco, Sebatian Lefebvre, and David Desrosiers. They're music is principaly known for the punk and emo style of their second álbum, specially for songs like: “Perfect”, “Welcome to my life” and “Crazy” and those were the most screamed songs of the show. One of the most special things about this concert was that my cousin was visiting Chile for the first time and we both love them.   One of the countries I would most likely visit when I have the chance, will be Brasil. I find that Brasil, besides of been a beautiful and exotic contry, is also a joyful place to spend time with family, drink a lot of piña colada, dance with the tradicional cheerful music with friends, or perfect to spend time by yourself while getting a perfect tan lying on the beach. Brasil has a tradicional music called samba, wich is known for been the music that garotas dance and is the music most heard in the Carnaval of Rio, wich is a festival held every year in Rio the Janeiro, considered the world biggest carnaval. Even I would love to visit Brasil, I think is probably a place for me to visit and not living. Because although I also come from a caribean contry, I hate the humidity on the weather. I prefer a dry o not so hummit weather, when refering to a place of a long stay.
